What Goes Around Comes Around Lyrics

Mm-mm

I seen a man slam doors in his own pride
Leave a trail of hurt in the dust behind
He laughed at tears on his neighbor's face
Then shed his own in a harder place
I seen a girl plant grace in spring
Water hope in everything
She gave when her hands were nearly bare
And found new strength waiting there

Lord, You told me long ago
Every seed will have its row
What I give, it comes back home
In the field I call my own
What goes around comes around
Sown in tears or sown in ground
Mercy rises, mercy found
What goes around comes around
What goes around comes around
Heaven sees the lost and found
I want my life on holy ground
What goes around comes around

If I throw stones, they shape my road
If I lift hands, He lightens load
If I turn away when someone's small
I may find myself alone in the fall
So I'll bless the one who hurts me still
Pray for strength to do Your will
'Cause the harvest comes in ways unknown
And I don't want to reap what I have thrown

Lord, You told me long ago
Every seed will have its row
What I give, it comes back home
In the field I call my own
What goes around comes around
Sown in tears or sown in ground
Mercy rises, mercy found
What goes around comes around
What goes around comes around
Heaven sees the lost and found
I want my life on holy ground
What goes around comes around

So make me gentle, make me true
Let my footsteps look like You
When I give love, let it stay
'Til it blooms some better day

What goes around comes around
Sown in tears, or sown in ground
Mercy rises, mercy found
What goes around comes around
What goes around comes around
Heaven sees the lost and found
I want my life on holy ground
What goes around comes around (Hey)

Oh
