I took a trip into space last night
left a note, and then launched at midnight
waved goodbye and then hitched a ride
on a lonely satellite

I took a picture of the milky way
then asked the stars if they'd like to play
I thought to myself that I could stay
and just soak up the sun all day

When I got back from my stellar field trip
I just missed all the other planets
