New Year Lyrics

This maybe a â??new yearâ?
But its not at all new. Just a different day.
The same people of last year.
Yesterday's history hasn't changed.
And the same feelings will carry into this year.
It's not a new start at anything.
New years resolutions, no one ever makes them
If you have, you know you won't fulfill them.
Are they resolutions to cure your feelings of the past? Or resolutions to aid things that might happen in the future?
Nothing is new.
You're still the same person.
Nothing changes over night.
And you don't feel any more different than I do.
All we can do is hope for a better future, and realize our stuggles of the past.
