If I took it from the start I was lying in my bed
I was sixteen I think when the name popped in my head
in the summer time I was sweating all day long
in between got a break, I wrote my first song
and if you took it apart, it sounded like crap
but I never cared, made it for a laugh
showed it to my friend we had a real good time
at the end of the day she left with hers I left with mine
I guess I went left and she went right to where I knew she would be

, I just laugh because I've been up for three days
