Handle On It Lyrics

Oh, it gets heavy
Got the gas tank running on "Empty"
Where Romeo, he never came to get me
And I swear I'm still alive but I ain't living
I'm just playing all the cards I was given
One slip, y'all flip, now I'm the villain
Love to watch me walk the line
But I got the dirt for the flowers, sweet for the sour, and something for the doubters

Yeah, I got a handle on it
Even when the world's crashing down on me
Just pour a little whiskey on it
I'm still dancing with my two left feet
Taking that shot in the dark and you know I'll never miss it
100 proof feeling, yeah, I don't need to mix it, no
Bottom of the bottle won't lose my grip
Hey, I got a handle on it

Yeah, I've been hurting
Prayed last night and I woke up cursing
But as long as I can keep that lantern burning
Yeah, I swear I'll be alright
Oh, I've been learning
Went the wrong way then I got to turning
Don't matter what bottom shelf they're serving
I just put it over ice

You know I got a handle on it
Even when the world's crashing down on me
Just pour a little whiskey on it
I'm still dancing with my two left feet
Taking that shot in the dark and you know I'll never miss it
100 proof feeling, yeah, I don't need to mix it, no
Bottom of the bottle won't lose my grip
Hey, I got a handle on it

Whoa
Yeah, got a handle on it
Come on
Yeah

No, I never met a problem
A problem that can break me
You won't see me falling
'Cause I don't do defeat
And you can bank on this

I got a handle on it, yeah
Even when the world's crashing down on me
Just pour a little whiskey on it, yeah
I'm still dancing with my two left feet
Taking that shot in the dark and you know I'll never miss it
100 proof feeling, yeah, I don't need to mix it, no
Bottom of the bottle won't lose my grip
Hey, I got a handle on it
