overlooked by sunblind eyes
sinking down you pulled me faster
smothering what remained inside
plastic doll hollow body
heartless and empty throughout
pull the string, bad poetry
you spoke three words without clout
you slipped me a ticket for a sinking ship
the hole grew bigger with each echoed drip
as i sank down
white vinyl broken record
scratched four times four oclock
scarred dreams slumped upon the floor
still remind me of twilights shock
plastic life and plastic smiles
tainted tales of spent false toils
a torn facade and useless trials
covered in the charcoled soil
