Untroubled Lyrics

Pale illuminations powering up,
moonlight losing out to rays.
The slow adjustments stepping through the house
come to rest when I wake.

All the words that still hang between these walls;
the illusions, the sighing, the tears,
and the making up and the words we forgot
echo untroubled when I am far from here.
