Those Summer Days Lyrics

I can't stop thinking about those summer days and cold nights where we slept under this blanket of skylight and we sat together trying to get warm by the fire. I saw you reading on the hammock and I stared at you because I had never seen so much beauty before in my life and I shook my head to make sure that I wasn't dreaming and I wasn't dreaming it was all real and I wanted to tell just how I was feeling but I was scared and I feared that you would never think about me the same. So I locked myself in the ten and blasted Clarity hoping that maybe you could hear and understand the lyrics because they truly meant something to me.... If only you could see... My heart was racing along with the waves I could hear from the beach. It must of been because I saw your face and I looked you right into your eyes, those beautiful eyes they never die in my mind....
So I finally left the campfire, then I started walking and me and Steve started talking and I told him everything and let it all out because I had to tell someone and I was to afraid to tell you so I left it at that and I am sorry for that but I left it at that.
Those were the best nights of my life because you were there to share with me, although you probably didn't care I did and it hurts alot but I did. I remember the last night I snuck out of the tent late at night and I walked down to the beach where could feel the sand underneath my feet and I looked up to the stars and wondered if this would ever work because if it didn't what would I do? What am I going to do? I CANT FORGET YOU.....
and love your smile and they way you are actually nice to me because that is probably hard because I such a jerk and I'm sorry, yeah i'm sorry.
It seems like memories never fade, along with the look on your face and the ways the stars shined down and nearly burnt you to waste. No reason why I decide to look to the firepit where you hade spelled your name an it was always with an "H" I can't forget that, no I won't forget that and I love those summer days!!
But here I sit and I am still alone and it is hard to understand why so I wander and I look up to the skies everynight to see if the stars have change because it seems like everything else has.
