Rush is right and so are his disciples for not taking advantage of their access to other information. They've sold it to themselves, before selling to us the reassurance of free press. With all the rhetoric of freedom of speech and press comes the lack of need to seek alternatives. In the former Soviet Union, 75% of the population supported alternative sources. Incomparable to here where we believe we have no reason to question what we're being told. Why pollute our media with healthy variety when its so easy to just kick back and die ? Just kick back and buy lies, buy our will to die. Buy what they're selling us, selling overzealous views that cater to their own interests. That cater to preserving right wing power. What happened to the idea of freedom of expression, or of public interest? Fewer propietors, narrowing power, fewer ideas to cultivate our opinions that determine how we vote, consume, and think...that determine what we are.
