Torrence Hatch is the real name of famous American rapper, performing under the stage nickname Lil Boosie. He was born on 14 November 1983, in Louisiana. Only fourteen years old, Lil Boosie came together with popular Baton Rouge rapper C-Loc in the late 90s and made his music debut on the fifth album of C-Loc, entitled "It is a gamble". Later, Hatch joined a local growing record label, named "Trill Entertainment" which was founded by Pimp C of "UGK". Shortly after that, Hatch and Trill independently released their first complete album - "For my thugz under Trill", which sold over 15,000 on the global music market. Later in the summer of 2003, Hatch co-operated with another label mate Webster Gradney, known as Webbie, for his next compilation "Ghetto stories", which also went on to quite well to sell over 15,000 copies a bit after its official appearance. Again together with Webbie, his compilation from 2004, entitled "Gangsta musik" really gains him great popularity. This record presented the ever popular songs "Swerve" which later appeared also in the movie "Hustle and flow", "Give me that", and "Bad bitch". This was the first really popular album of Lil Boosie, actually penetrating the borders of Louisiana and successfully reaching the rest part of the world. His music talent was now undeniable, and he attracted the attention of some "Universal Records" representatives. In late January of 2005, Boosie signed a deal with Universal, and released his new compilation - "Boosie bad azz". His latest hit album was "Bad azz", appeared on 23 October 2006. It consists of songs, such as "Dats what they like", "Smokin on purple", and "Zoom", recorded together with Yung Joc.
